I am a Danish-Cabindan architect and writer. My work is driven by curiosities about space, ecology, and politics.

Currently a doctoral fellow at the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (gta) at ETH Zürich, I am drawn to translating architectural thought into design methods, cultural strategy and production, and into diverse forms of public and collective engagements.

I have previously directed an architectural design studio at London’s Royal College of Art - School of Architecture, and have acted as academic mentor for Architekturos fondas and as a frequent critic at the Graduate School of Architecture in Johannesburg, among others. Between 2018 and 2021, I served as Head of Strategic Outreach at the bimestrial magazine The Funambulist, where I was subsequently appointed Advisor. My work across cultural programming, creative business development, and architectural and urban design spans positions as Curator of the Aarhus Architecture Festival and as a practicing architect in Copenhagen, Paris, and Stockholm at SLA Architects, Norrøn Architects, and Kaminsky Arkitektur.

I have been supported by the Journal of Architectural Education Fellowship, the dpr-Barcelona Curatorial Fellowship and the African Futures Institute, and have been awarded grants from the Danish Arts Foundation (2023), the Dreyers Foundation (2018, 2021, 2023), Aarhus Municipality Cultural Production (2019, 2021), and the Danish Association of Architects (2018). Equally, I have held residencies with Theatrum Mundi and Hangar - Center for Artistic Investigation. I hold an MA in Architecture from the Royal Danish Academy and have pursued additional studies in Sustainable Development at Sciences Po Paris and Journalism at Roskilde University.

My most recent curiosities lie in understanding the geological and material registers of space. In my doctoral thesis, “The Black Shores,” I turn to the intersecting fields of critical theory, environmental history, and material culture to examine geologic intimacies and practices across the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In particular, I attend to the Congo Basin as a structurally central place within global resource flow, past and present, and as a laboratory for radical spatial and political imagination.

I live and work between Copenhagen, Denmark and Zürich, Switzerland.
